An 8-element, 6-group apochromat that reaches 1:2 on its own at 0.45 m and 1:1 with the matching Elpro attachment. It is among the sharpest and best colour-corrected R lenses, so it looks more modern than the Mandler primes and is used for product, tabletop and detail work. The focus throw is very long, which suits macro pulls but is slow for normal work.
