For editors & post houses

From first cut to the embed on your website

Editors and post houses juggle a review tool, a file-transfer service and a video host for every client. ProductionPal puts the client review, the approvals, the delivery and the portfolio in one place — free for one editor, then $15 a seat when the team grows.

Sound familiar?

Today

Three tools per delivery

The cut goes up for review in one tool, the masters go out through a transfer link, and the finished film lives on a video host you pay for separately.

With ProductionPal

Review, approval, download and the portfolio player on one link per client — and one bill.

Today

Notes in an email thread

“At about a minute in, the logo is too small.” Which version? Which minute? Feedback that isn’t pinned to a frame turns every round into a guessing game.

With ProductionPal

Clients comment on the exact frame, draw on it and approve a version. Notes land as markers on your Resolve timeline.

Today

The client saw the rough one

An internal pass shared by accident, or a link that still plays last week’s cut. Without separate rounds, the client sees whatever is newest.

With ProductionPal

Internal rounds the client never sees. A version only reaches them when you send it.

Review

Timecoded client review

Clients comment on the exact frame, draw on it and approve a version — from one share link per client, with no account to create and no seat to pay for.
  • Drawings and range notes on the frame
  • Per-link permissions: comments, downloads, expiry
  • Share the whole project or hand-picked cuts

Rounds

Internal rounds the client never sees

Run your own review passes first. A version reaches the client only when you send it, so the rough cut stays in the room.

Delivery

Approve, then download from the same link

Once a cut is approved, the client downloads it from the link they reviewed on. No transfer service in between, no expiring links to chase.

DaVinci Resolve

Built into the edit

The plugin turns deliverables into timelines, renders straight to review and pulls the client’s comments back onto your timeline as markers. Turn a marker green and the note is resolved for the client too.
  • Editing time logged for you, as drafts to confirm
  • Company render presets and shortcuts on every machine
  • Deliverables matched to timelines by name

Post plan

A post plan the client greenlights

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free plan for editors?

Yes. One editor gets client review, internal rounds, approvals, downloads and the Resolve plugin free, with 10 GB of review storage and no time limit. Post is $15 a seat a month and adds the portfolio, branded embeds and 250 GB of storage, after a 14-day trial.

Do clients need an account to review?

No. Each client gets a share link. Reviewers are never seats and never pay.

Can the portfolio replace our video host?

For showing your work, yes: pick final cuts into the portfolio and embed each one on your site in a player in your colours. It’s included in Post.

Does it work with DaVinci Resolve?

Yes. The plugin for Resolve Studio on Mac and Windows renders a timeline straight to review and brings the client’s comments back into Resolve as markers.

How big can uploads be?

Up to 200 GB per file, uploaded straight from Resolve or the browser.

What about shoot days, gear and rentals?

The Post plans are built around review and delivery. Production tools, gear and rentals can be added free when you need them.
