About

Built by a production company, for production companies

The origin story

After 10 years running a production company — managing crews, tracking gear across shoots, building budgets in spreadsheets, and chasing invoices through email — we knew there had to be a better way.

We tried every tool out there. Generic project management apps that needed endless customization to approximate a production workflow. Equipment rental software that couldn't handle budgets. Accounting tools that had no concept of a shoot day.

Nothing was built for how production companies actually work. So we built it ourselves.

ProductionPal is the tool we always wished existed. Every feature, every screen, every workflow is designed from lived experience — not from a product manager's assumption about what “content creation” looks like.

Our mission

Give every production company — from a two-person crew to a full-service studio — a single platform that handles productions end-to-end. Gear, crew, budgets, quotes, invoices, and time tracking. All connected. All designed for the production workflow.

We believe production companies deserve purpose-built software, not workarounds.

What we value

Production-first design

Every decision starts with "how do production companies actually do this?" Not generic patterns adapted after the fact.

Financial integrity

Documents are immutable once created. Line-item snapshots, audit trails, and archived records. Your numbers are always trustworthy.

Simplicity over features

We'd rather do fewer things well than overwhelm you with half-baked functionality. Every feature ships finished.

Built in the open

We build alongside real production companies. Feedback shapes the roadmap. Early adopters aren't beta testers — they're co-creators.
