Production companies start free — 2 seats, 3 productions, no card. Essential is $30 per seat a month with everything unlocked and no caps on people, productions or invoices. Solo owner-operators and freelance producers get a free single seat. Schools pay $99 a month including 3 staff seats, then $25 per extra staff seat, and students are always free. Essential opens with a 14-day trial.

Is there a genuinely free plan, or just a trial?

Both. The company Free plan and both solo plans have no time limit — they simply have caps. On top of that, Essential opens with a 14-day trial so you can use everything before paying for it.

Can I manage both productions and equipment rentals?

Yes. Your gear inventory serves double duty — book it internally for your own productions, or rent it out to clients through the rental workflow with quotes, confirmations, packing lists and invoices. Availability is computed across both, so renting out can never collide with your own shoot.

Yes. Share a deliverable on a link — no account needed on their side — and clients leave timestamped comments and record an approval. The approval is attached to the deliverable it belongs to, so you are not paying for a separate review tool or chasing sign-off through email.

Does it work for film schools and media programs?

Yes, on a dedicated education plan. Students browse a private members-only gear shop with real availability and submit booking requests; staff approve or decline them. Student accounts are unlimited and free — you pay for staff seats only — and every price, rate and invoice is hidden across the app, because a school lends gear rather than renting it.

Yes. Invoices and credit notes sync to Dinero, with auto-incrementing invoice numbers and a manual override when you need one. More accounting integrations are on the roadmap — tell us which one matters most to you.

Yes. Shoot days, packing tasks and return tasks can be sent as .ics calendar invites that drop straight into your crew's Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar. Updates and cancellations propagate automatically, so a moved call time moves in their calendar too.
