A compact semi-wide normal for the 645 system; the N revision uses 8 elements in 6 groups, focuses closer (0.45 m vs 0.55 m) and weighs less than the earlier C. It renders with moderate contrast and a rounded, unforced sharpness that suits faces. Small and light enough for gimbal work while still covering LF and GFX sensors.

What it goes on

Glassless adapters exist for EF, PL-type and all mirrorless mounts thanks to the 63.3mm register; aperture is set on the lens. On a 0.7x Baveyes-style reducer it becomes roughly a 38mm f/2 on full frame. Shares the 58mm filter thread with the 80mm f/2.8 and 150mm f/3.5, which simplifies a travel set.
