A moderate wide for 6x4.5 (9 elements in 7 groups); the N version is smaller and lighter than the original C (about 475 g vs 540 g). Rendering is clean in the centre with a soft roll-off toward the edges and low-ish contrast that grades easily. Large image circle means even falloff on Alexa LF, RED VV and GFX 44x33 sensors.

What it goes on

Adapts glassless via the 63.3mm flange to EF and all mirrorless mounts, with the aperture ring fully functional on a plain tube. With a 0.7x focal reducer it lands around 32mm f/2 on full frame, keeping the 645 field of view; focus throw is short by cine standards, so a follow-focus gear and a de-click are common mods.
