A comparatively rare multicoated double-Gauss portrait lens (6 elements in 5 groups, 6 blades) from the late DDR period, offered in M42 auto/electric and later as a Prakticar in Praktica B mount. It is compact and light for an 80/1.8, with a soft glow over good central sharpness wide open and smooth backgrounds. Scarcity makes it by far the most expensive lens in a CZJ M42 set; sources disagree on the introduction year (1977 vs 1983), so no dates are given.

Auto-aperture M42 with A/M switch — glassless adapter to EF or mirrorless and set to M. Avoid the Praktica B (Prakticar) version unless you have a PB adapter, as it has no manual stop-down without modification. Clicked aperture; declick for video.
