Pentax's fastest normal lens of the era: seven elements, eight blades, and a big step up in size from the f/1.4. At f/1.2 it is low in contrast with a soft halo over fine detail, which cleans up by f/2 into a sharp, modern-looking image. Depth of field at full aperture is thin enough that a long focus throw and a good monitor are needed for video.

What it goes on

45.46mm flange: fits EF via a slim K adapter, but the large rear element and the aperture lever guard sit deep and are known to hit full-frame Canon mirrors, so it is mostly used on mirrorless. Make sure the adapter engages the aperture lever so the ring actually controls the iris.
