The reference "Cooke Look" lens: flattering on faces, warm, with cat-eye bokeh towards the frame edge. Covers Super 35 comfortably; some copies are reported to reach full frame with heavy vignetting, which should not be relied on. Close focus, weight and front diameter are for the TLS rehousing, not the original barrel.

What it goes on

Almost always rented as a TLS rehousing in PL with a common 110mm front and cam-driven focus; P+S Technik and Zero Optik have also rehoused them. Loose originals are usually Arri Standard or Mitchell/BNCR mount; Arri-S copies adapt to mirrorless bodies with simple adapters, but the tiny original barrels have short focus throws and no gears.
