The high-resolution update of Angénieux's classic 10:1 cine zoom and a workhorse of 1990s features and commercials. Constant T3.5, about 280 degrees of focus rotation, and a long 5ft7in minimum focus. It was laid out for the 35mm cine frame and sources put the image circle at roughly 30mm, so expect some corner shading at the wide end on open-gate Super 35.

What it goes on

Native PL and no rehousing needed, but at about 4.7–4.8 kg and 40 cm long it requires rod support. Extenders (1.4x/2x) are commonly paired with it.
