Added to the range in 1988 with the updated Mk II, so it never existed as a Mk I. Less common than the other focal lengths and frequently missing from five-lens sets. Mk II (1984) and Mk III (1995) share the same optics with a seven-blade iris; the Mk III has larger scales and a geared iris. Designed for the 35mm cine frame, so treat them as Super 35 lenses — they do not cover full frame.

What it goes on

Native PL with 80mm fronts and geared focus (Mk III adds a geared iris), so no rehousing is required; they go on mirrorless cameras with a plain PL adapter. TLS and GL Optics offer rehousings for worn sets, mainly to get longer focus throws and bigger scales.
