Schneider's f/2 double-Gauss primes supplied with the Arriflex 35 from the 1950s onward; rehoused sets are rated about T2.2. Organic, medium-contrast rendering with a soft highlight roll-off and lively flares. The wider focal lengths were computed for the Academy frame and Super 35 corner coverage is not confirmed by the sources used, so a conservative coverage value is given. Front diameter is for the P+S Technik rehousing; close focus and weight were not published.

What it goes on

Original barrels are tiny Arri Standard mount lenses that adapt easily to mirrorless cameras with inexpensive adapters, which made them popular budget cine glass. For set work they are rehoused in PL by P+S Technik (95mm fronts), TLS and others.
