Covers Super 35 and only part of the larger APS-H frame according to CinemaTechnic. One of the original six focal lengths from the 1960s. Standard Speeds are sharper and more contrasty than their Super Speed siblings at matching stops, and extremely small and light. Early copies are single-coated (marked T2.2); T* multicoating arrived in the early 1980s. Specs are for Mk II PL housings.

What it goes on

Mk II versions are native PL (or Arri bayonet) with 80mm fronts and focus gears and need nothing but a PL adapter for mirrorless use. Early small-barrel versions in Arri Standard or bayonet mount adapt easily to mirrorless cameras and are popular rehousing donors (TLS, GL Optics, P+S Technik).
